- One-piece ivory handle
- Nickel silver and carbon steel cutter mechanism
- Steel back spring
- Blade end of handle has a carbon steel nibber
- Dates to the mid-1800's, excellent condition (there are some very light stains on the carbon steel parts, thin cracks in the ivory where the quill cutter mechanism attaches, and the quill blade can be difficult to slide out of the handle)
