- 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" blades of carbon steel, 3 5/8" closed length
- Ivory scales with nickel silver liners
- Nickel silver and carbon steel cutter mechanism
- Steel back springs
- The larger blade is marked Rodgers Patent Pen Nibber, and in conjunction with the hole in the back of the handle was designed to be used to trim the tip of a quill.
- Dates to the mid-1800's, good to excellent condition (carbon steel parts have light rusting, and the small blade has several small dings in the cutting edge)
