- One-piece ebony wood handle
- Nickel silver and carbon steel cutter mechanism is larger than a standard quill cutter
- Steel back spring
- Blade end of handle has a carbon steel nibber
- Dates to the mid-1800's, outstanding condition (there is light scratching along the cutting edge and light scratching on nickel silver fittings)
