- This is the 3rd large art book on modern custom knives published by D. Darom. Through a series of 100 custom knife related projects, this book gives a comprehensive glimpse into the art of knifemaking. Dr. Darom devoted over 2000 hours of time working on his computer and countless hours coaching and guiding knifemakers through the photography process. In addition to world renowned knifemakers, there is a nice selection of up-and-coming artists from around the world whose work deserves respect and admiration. Most of the pictures in the book were photographed by the knifemakers, and the comments and picture captions (nearly 80,000 words) were written by the makers.
- This first printing from June 2006 was limited to 1500 copies. In subsequent edition the printing quality did not meet the same standards as those set by Dr. Darom in this First Edition.
