- 11 1/4" blade of carbon steel, 1/4" stock, 16 1/2" overall length
- Wood scales
- Leather belt sheath with copper throat and M1910 pistol belt hook attachment (hook has worn through the leather and is missing)
- Sheath is from 1942 which is the first year of manufacture
- Good condition (the blade has a patina of staining and fine pitting, and the front handle scale is broken at the bottom rear pin)
- The Medical Corpsmen Knives were made from 1942 til 1945 and were originally issued to medical personnel during WWII for use in creating litters and splints in the field. There were 5 manufacturers of this design, but it was not uncommon for the U.S.M.C. to be the only marking on the knife.
