Dates to the late 1950's or early 1960's, excellent condition (knife does not appear to have been used, but has light scratches on the back of the blade, and a small divot in leather behind the guard)
The Model 3 was never officially available in a 5 1/2" version, but it was not uncommon practice during this time period for people to special request a blade length variant.
